Evita G. Romero

Chief People Officer

Evita G. Romero serves as Chief People Officer of Bowen & Bowen Ltd., where she leads the Group’s people strategy, talent development, organisational culture, and human resources initiatives across all companies. As a member of the executive leadership team, she plays a pivotal role in strategic workforce planning, ensuring the effective development, mobility, and retention of talent throughout the organisation.

Since joining the Group, Evita has held a variety of roles across the business, including positions in administration at Belize Estate Co. Ltd., finance and accounting at Bowen & Bowen Ltd., and export operations at Belize Aquaculture Ltd. She later combined her professional experience with her passion for developing people by helping establish the Human Resources Department, where she has provided leadership for more than a decade.

Evita holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from Galen University. She is also a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest professional association for human resources.
