The Company is a creation from a merger between Crystal Bottling Company, the leading Soft Drink and Non-Alcohol beverage company in Belize, and Belize Brewing Company, the leading Brewery and ready-to-drink beverages with alcohol in Belize. The ambition of this merger was to create a total beverage company.
In 2017, Belize Brewing established a strategic alliance with Heineken International BV, which acquired a minority stake in the company. With this alliance and the global best practices, The Company is positioned to continue growing and offering more of the brands its consumers love for generations to come.
Founded in 1969, Belize Brewing Company (BBCo) is a Division of Belize Beverage Company that manages the production and marketing of brewery products, and other ready-to-drink beverages with alcohol.
At its founding, BBCo was deemed a “project with little potential for success” by international brewing experts. Through the vision and perseverance of the Bowen Family, the company grew and thrived. Today via an expanding and evolving portfolio, BBCo continues to respond to the ever-changing consumer desires and offers an assortment of world-class local and international brands.
Leading BBCo’s portfolio is the flagship brand Belikin Beer, a brand that is tightly woven into Belizean culture and heritage and is a favorite among both local consumers and tourists. BBCo’s other local brands include Belikin Stout, Belikin Light, Lighthouse Lager, and other seasonal offerings. Over the past five decades, BBCo has also expanded the portfolio to include well-known international brands found throughout the country; Heineken, Guinness Stout, LandShark, Red Stripe, Smirnoff Ice, and Amstel Bright.
Located in Ladyville, BBCo’s state-of-the-art Krones-Steinecker brewery has ample capacity to continue growing along with the demand generated from consumers in other regional markets as the company expands its export footprint

Two-5 Brewing
Continuous brewing innovation and experimentation require a small, agile operation designed to search out new recipes and flavors and bring them to life. Two-5 Brewing, established in 2019, is designed to take input from the market, customers, and consumers and quickly develop novel offerings that combine international beer styles with local Belizean ingredients. The world-class, small-batch craft brews produced by Two-5 provide consumers with a variety of bold and unique taste experiences.
The Two-5 brand represents the Belizean character of close friendships and sharing new experiences with those friends. Symbolizing the spirit of friendship, Two-5’s recipes bring the broad world of beer and combine it with the flavors of Belize.
Manufacturing takes place in Ladyville, next to Di Bruwry, which allows consumers to visit the Two-5 Brewing facility, see the production of the unique brews, sample a variety of great-tasting recipes, and enjoy some food and snacks.
