Champions Crowned at 2025 Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee Finals
Excitement soared at the Muffles Auditorium in Orange Walk on Friday, June 6, as the nation witnessed Belize’s top young spellers compete for glory in the 2025 Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee Finals.
After challenging rounds, Sanders Chavez from San Jose Succotz RC Primary School, Cayo District, emerged victorious, claiming 1st Place. 2nd Place went to Jace Williams of All Saints Anglican School, Belize District, and 3rd Place was awarded to Jamira Hines of St. Peter Claver Primary, Toledo District.
Twelve exceptional finalists who advanced from intense Zone and District rounds took the stage and demonstrated remarkable focus and determination, making this year’s competition one of the most thrilling.
The Bowen & Bowen National Spelling Bee is more than a contest—it celebrates literacy, discipline, and academic excellence. Winners receive scholarships and other exciting prizes to support their educational journeys.
